Recap:

Back to Spring Break, the SF trip was awesome traveling on nothing but two wheels and a frame with just my little brown box bag and Northface backpack. Vu and I took the CalTrain until we got to our first stop-at the Starbucks we planned to settle down at days before. From there, we asked for our directions and biked straight down the line of numerous piers. We got to Pier 45, and took vintage black and white photobooth pictures, ate our clam chowder, and practically hiked most of our way up the steep, steep hills with our bikes and legs with all our strength and energy, to get to Union Square. We lifted our bikes down a small flight of stairs and got to the center of Union Square. Being the paranoid freak that I was and still am, I made Vu lock our bikes to the meter parkers in front of each store each time we wanted to go into another store. Through it all, we eventually found our way to the deep suburbs and stumbled upon a very large, well organized, and likable Goodwill. From there, we traveled until we reached the streets of all heaven-Mission Street with supposedly a neighborhood of many spacious thriftstores and interesting small shops. The look around the neighborhood was a bit frightening at first, but that was the fun about it because there we were, the two of us in the middle of an unfamiliar place, absolutely living in the moment with adventurous mindsets, just trying to get to our planned destinations. Nothing could compare to that moment because it felt so surreal. Heading back to the CalTrain just two minutes before the train loaded took quite some breath out of us, but in the end, we made it back to our home destination safe and sound. It was definitely the highlight of my Spring Break. Now, surely my orange road bike has been to one far away destination with me without crashing down into pieces.

This week has been quite hectic with the budget project going on, Mr. Cava's group presentation research, community service hours at Loaves and Fishes through most of the week, and other random things on my mind that I am forced to think about. I'm glad I got to spend at least one lunch with the Special Ed kids through this busy bee week though because it hasn't been so carefree since the less sunnier days of the year. In the end, they're the ones who can really help draw the frustrations out of my head.  I'm sad to have missed their prom on Friday, but I just absolutely could not imagine what would happen if I missed one of the research days with the group for Mr. Cava's 35-40 group presentation preparation. Making up work is not always fun, so I am not going to beg for it.

I took my Saturday school final today and that was like a huge sack that got lifted off the back of my sore shoulders after I turned in the exam. This afternoon, I strolled around the spacious Art & Wine Festival with Lin for a good hour or so. This year, I realized that they took down the rainbow glass sand art booth-something that I like to visit every year. I bought myself a zebra pen made out of wood and couldn't find my mother anything too special, since the vegetable magnet booth didn't exist as well!!!! But that is okay, because I wanted to make her something strange at home since she said she likes things that resemble my weirdness.

Aside, all my random bizarre thoughts are building up upon my stressed out mind, so I've been committing myself to working out 30-45 minutes each day, to free myself and get great exercise from useful Youtube instructors.

Well, Happy 18th Birthday Anne, and Happy Mother's Day in less than a hour, Bloggers!
