Yesterday was quite eventful. I considered it my first day of relaxation because though I felt like the week went by like a drag, Spring Break somehow began without me really noticing. After school, I walked home as usual with my usual thoughts, but with the exception of happily knowing that it was Earth Day. Vivian, Tiffany, and I went out to Starbucks and got our free cups of passion fruit tea with our tumblers. Within the two hours, I managed to walk around the mall looking for special on-sale items that all of us never ended up purchasing, have a late lunch at Chipotle, talk about college, and purchase a cute little red velvet cupcake (my dad's favorite) and a chocolate mousse cake for him. Then we went back to my house to take spontaneous pictures and make random videos in my somewhat cleaned up backyard with that one piece of light brown fence that our neighbors just put up for their side and our side.
Vivian eventually drove Tiffany back to her house to see if they had extra bikes because I told Vu I'd bike with him to Starbucks and that they should come along for fun. Just a simple add-in, I really liked how Vu rolled up his sleeves with that V-neck sweater because for some reason, I just really like rolled-up sleeves on anything. So we met up with Tiffany and Vivian at Vivian's house, and it turned out that they only had one bike, so it ended up being just the two of us. We biked to Starbucks and sat outside with our drinks and I ate bits of his sweet blueberry muffin-which I shouldn't have eaten because the sweetness made my sore throat feel worse. We laid out how we wanted to spend our break and decided that we might (yeah might) find a job in downtown this summer together.
Then, I bought my dad a customized tumbler at Starbucks for his late birthday present (since the last one I got him broke) and biked to Walgreens around the corner to pick up some birthday candles. Biking home, I went straight to the shower power and then came out to eat dinner, anxious to light up his favorite colored candle in the red velvet cupcake I got him to surprise him for his late birthday celebration. Bet you didn't expect that, did you dad? I'm really sorry; I was so occupied with doing everything else that I somehow forgot your birthday! But, yesterday was supposed to be Good Friday, so hopefully I got to make up for some parts of it.
