sometimes what's in your head isn't as crazy as you think

So I finally got around to watching this movie after letting it sit so still on my desktop for countless weeks. I'm really glad that I sat through the whole film today because it was very inspiring and sensational. It's about a 16-year-old boy named Craig who goes through depression feeling directionless and confused towards what he does from being attached to all these strings that tie him around in all kinds of emotional stressful reactions. He brings himself to the ER and tries to get help and escape from the emerging life crisis that he claims to be going through. From there, he gets admitted to an adult psychiatric department where he engages with people of all kinds of different mental illnesses. He gets taken under the wing by a man named Bobby and meets new friends, discovers a drawing talent, and understands that sometimes the best things come from the simplicity of life. He gets to see that there's an entire world out there if he would just open his eyes to accept life's vicissitudes and deal with his problems step by step to redeem his self assurance and uncover his worries and fears. He realizes that he could speak up to his dad if he wanted to, give up the Gates Summer sign up program if he didn't want to do it, throw away what doesn't make him happy, and have the free will to just live. This movie can teach all of us something, and it's that sometimes we all need to really take a moment to just breathe. I know, I'm one to speak... but I too, am working on it.
