"He can stand me up, but he can't stand you up. And he can't stand my sister up."
How can I not have a massive crush on Robert Pattinson? He may not have played the excessively pale vampire role like he did in the Twilight series or the goofy quirky guitarist from How To Be, but he played the tragic role of a pretty honest 21-year-old who stumbled upon newfound love, threats, and secrets that he unexpectedly encountered along the way as the rebellious son, passionate significant other, and loving brother in the film Remember Me. Watching the engaging film of young love, detachments, and deep burdens all over again made me feel for the characters once more. Robert Pattinson may not be the best actor in line, but I definitely see him as the character who can really naturally bring out the serious and emotional expressionistic aspects out of his acting career, and it really hooks onto suckers like me. Despite the sad underlying connection to the 9/11 experience, it's a great film that highlighted the roses and thorns of a probable case of a particular family that too lived in New York during the tragic day of disaster in a different light.
Water for Elephants is just calling for me now.
