I feel like I haven't slept for years as of right now because my eyes feel like they are on fire (as usual), after taking off my dry, dry contacts that have stayed in my desert dry eyes for more than 15 long passing hours. Tonight's LTG Key Club Banquet for Wen was actually a pretty fun thing to attend. Long story short, those 25 minute long speeches, random member roasts, quirky jokes, short performances, good food, and nice people were just what I needed after strenuous efforts in trying to keep awake throughout this entire week of endless unrest. Admittedly, on certain days, I can get pretty frustrated when trying to pull out some of the most stubborn plants with the thickest roots out of the ground; but by the end of each of those certain days, I find that Key Club always finds a way to help me grow the patience to leave what's meant to be left alone in the ground at its own readiness, just like what's meant to be figured out accordingly in life at its own reasonable pace. I honestly see Key Club as the epitome of what part of life itself is all about: service, unwavering character, and purity. To grow and to learn is to rise and to shine.
