Friday: I had one of the best nights of all in my entire senior year. It was so amazing to see every single unique AOL (Academy of Life) kid go up on stage to sing and perform his heart out. Everyone had so much fun dancing and clapping to the pop hits throughout the night that no one wanted the magical night to end. All of the endless amount of effort the dedicated teachers, wonderful staff, and committed students put together surely paid off. Everyone most definitely pulled off as big stars for the night.

Saturday: After school, Anne and I ran errands all day long. Knowing me, I made a list of all of the birthday supplies I needed weeks ago and I finally set the date to go to each store to pick up most of the items yesterday. I got the colored streamers, paper lanterns, silver ribbons, plastic glass-looking cups, baby blue candles, crystal glass candle holders, silver tablecloth, and a bunch of other things that I had written down on my long list. We had lunch at Taco bell together and dessert at Andersen Bakery later in the night. I also got the chance to pick up my birthday dinner dress, so I am super excited now!

Today, I have a long day ahead of me again. I have to finish watching Malcolm X and apply the new terms to the video worksheet, read and take notes for Brave New World, and study for the quizzes. I also have to start thinking of how I want to make my invitations by late afternoon, so I could start constructing my cardboard robot for my English video project. Luckily I already have paintbrushes in the garage drawers and bought white and blue paint from Michael's yesterday; so I am good to make this cardboard robot happen. Weekends are meant to be productive, so I hope you are all spending your guys' weekend wisely. A beautiful day awaits for you all. Happy Sunday.
