Yes the header says January 1st, 2011 and not December 25th, 2010. I'm not crazy; I just became a very late Christmas shopper today. I bought some really amazing glittery, sparkly, and colorful ornaments and holiday ribbon today, and I was just so excited that I had to add them to my little blue tree collection decoration in my room. I think it just might stay Christmas in my room all year once again. I just never get tired of fun and creative holiday decorations or my little blue tree. Glitter, glitter, glitter. I love it all-- just not so much on clothes, but on home decor.
This morning, I woke up late all because I chose to sleep at 3:30 AM again last night. So I kind of made Sherry wait for our first meal of the New Year. But I made it, and Sherry was still willing to drive us to iHop with all the same hopeful excitement for delicious breakfast food. I ordered a Banana-nut-blueberry-with-scrambled-eggs-on-the-side kind of plate, and I was feeling very grateful because it was just so perfect. Having long talks and contemplating about past dramatic high school stories, quirky dilemmas, after-high-school-plans, and college lifestyles made our first breakfast of the New Year meaningful and worthwhile. I'm really glad I got to hang out with Sherry this morning because it made me realize that I still had some good friends left who are willing to catch me at my falls. (To Sherry: Thank you so much for your Polaroid Snap Shot Magnetic Photo Frames! I love them; Now I don't have to keep walking back and forth Urban Outfitters every time to decide whether I should purchase them or not. They are wonderful, and you, truly know me as well; so thank you very much).
Today, my broskie flew back to San Diego and Jennifer headed home with her papa bear and mama bear. Our small house is once again broskie-jennifer-less and I am back in my own room by myself again. Thank goodness the two weeks of Christmas break didn't go by in a jiffy; I am glad that I got to spend the majority of my time with two of my most favorite people. I couldn't have asked for more. Plus, my broskie left the entire bag of Polyester Fiberfill in my room, so I can stitch whenever I want and not run out of fiberfill. Sweet!-potatoes.
Tonight, I am going to study these lengthy methamphetamine-related articles and go over what the government is doing to help prevent the abuse of methamphetamine and other drugs. Happy New Year to all of us for sure.
