dreams of tomorrowland

Right now, I just want to hike up to the tip of the mountain and look down from above at dawn. I want to roll through freshly cut green grass and fly rainbow kites until I feel like going home. I want to finally learn how to drive and get to some of my favorite bookstores, thrift stores, and cafes around without waiting for someone to actually want to do the same thing with me without me asking. I want to play night tennis at outdoor courts with bright lights as often as I can. I want to get to a small but comfortable and quiet beach and bury myself in the softest sand on land without anyone starring at me funnily. I want to have late night bonfires and talks with genuine people who actually give a care about life. I want to separate arrogant individuals who talk in condescending tones to others and strand them to the same deserted island far, far away. I want to rejoice with good old friends and bond with new and adventurous people. I want to live life like there is a tomorrow, with a meaningful yet spontaneous purpose in the present. I want to explore nature and capture vivid photos of the wildlife. I want to build big snow forts and igloos and go snowboarding. I want these fantasized chapters of life to start soon.

Imagination is a beautiful thing.
