One girl in a rainbow sweater said she wanted a DS. Another girl in a pink marshmallow jacket said she wanted to meet Santa Claus. Well, the girl in the pink marshmallow jacket's wish came true. And as usual, all the boys wanted his own Xbox 360, dragon, or dog/cat. But one girl did want boxes of pizza and one boy did want a bowl of peanuts. Cute.
I really enjoyed myself at the Christmas Carnival at San Antonio today. I'm glad that we brought so much holiday spirit and joy to the first graders with our reindeer crafts, seasonal cookies, and Christmas gifts. It reminded me a little bit of my own childhood holiday memories when I had a lot of fun with the big kids in kindergarten myself. On another note, when I got home, I changed and took a long and peaceful walk to CVS to pick up a box of bandages, white ear buds, Christmas lights, Christmas cards, snowflake paper garland, and power cord extensions. They were all in boxes coincidentally, except for the snowflake paper garland that was in a clear plastic bag.
Today my parents didn't come home early enough to bring me to see my grandma, but hopefully I will get to see her this weekend. Tonight I will turn on the Christmas lights and marvel over the flamboyant sight of joy. Actually, I have to study for the Macbeth quiz for English. So happy Thursday everyone!
